Marija Sukyte
Marija has been working in dispute resolution since 2015 acting in a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters. She has extensive experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as County Court and High Court proceedings. Her expertise includes shareholder and partnership disputes, contract disputes and contentious probate.
Clients are the highest priority for Marija. She believes in putting the time in to make sure clients get the very best service and the outcomes they need. Never shying away from a challenge, Marija is available whenever clients need her and is always on top of every detail.
It is important to Marija that her clients are happy, so she ensures they always review key documents and that she gets their opinions before moving forward.
Marija says: “The best thing about my job is the clients. I get to meet people from all over and find out about them. I also love the variety of my role – every case is different.”
Career
Marija started her legal career in 2015 as a Legal Assistant in the Commercial/Litigation Department of a respected London Law firm.
She graduated from Brunel University in 2017 with a LLB (Hons) qualification before embarking on a training contract with the same law firm while simultaneously studying part time for the Legal Practice Course at the London Metropolitan University.
Marija completed her LPC in 2019 and her training contract in 2020, being admitted as a Solicitor in August 2020.
Having joined Longmores in May 2022, Marija has quickly become a valuable asset to our Dispute Resolution team.
