Lindsey Reid-Cook
Lindsey joined Longmores as a Property Litigation Paralegal in 2023. She is involved in the variety of work handled by the property litigation team including contentious and non-contentious matters.
Utilising her extensive expertise in property disputes, Lindsey regularly supports with issues such as:
- Disputes concerning landlords and management companies
- Management company and managing agent advice
- Advice on freehold and leasehold property issues
- Breach of lease covenants
- Service charge disputes
- Ground rent disputes
- Recovery of service charge and ground rent arrears
- Forfeiture of residential leases and claims for orders for sale

Lindsey brings particular knowledge in service charge disputes, having previously worked for a firm that dealt predominately in that field.
Lindsey believes in treating her clients according to their individual needs and aims to achieve this by building a relationship with each client. It is important to Lindsey that her clients are kept up to date with the progress of their case and that matters are resolved as swiftly as possible.
Career
Lindsey’s previous experience includes six years as a Litigation Paralegal, primarily handling defended County Court and First-tier Tribunal matters and acting for landlords and management companies in service charge disputes.
Lindsey also has experience in handling County Court and First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal appeals.
Lindsey is a CILEX Member: Paralegal, having achieved the CILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys travelling and yoga. She also finds that much of her time is taken up looking after and walking her Golden Labrador.
