Charlotte Hastings

Charlotte is the Marketing & Business Development Manager for the firm with responsibility for internal and external communications across online and offline channels, branding, campaigns, events and public relations.

Charlotte supports all the legal practice areas with their business development activities for the firm’s clients and network of other professionals.

Having worked in marketing since 2005, including for a major retailer and a leading independent school, Charlotte brings both breadth and depth of experience to her role.

She believes in putting our clients first, understanding their needs and talking to them in the way they want to be talked to. Charlotte’s goal is to make sure every client has all the information they need to make the right decision for them about working with our team.

Charlotte enjoys the variety her role offers and the challenge of marketing a service that makes a real difference to people’s lives. She is proud to help connect people who need legal expertise with the high-quality service Longmores offers.

Career

Having studied History of Art at the University of Bristol, Charlotte started her marketing career in retail where she learned the valuable lesson – that it is all about understanding the customer and delivering to their expectation.

The same lesson applied to marketing in education where Charlotte found that she really valued the chance to create an experience and a deeper connection between the people she was marketing to and the school. This is something which she has continued to focus on since joining Longmores in 2018.

In her role as Longmores’ Marketing and Business Development Manager, Charlotte brings the benefits of her many years of experience and laser-focus on delivering the very best experience for our clients.

As one of the key guardians of Longmores’ brand and its two hundred years of history, Charlotte has been instrumental in helping to define who we are today and how we can continue to best serve our clients, giving us the tools to deliver a truly modern legal service.

Personal interests

With a degree in History of Art, it’s perhaps not surprising that Charlotte retains a real passion for art, particularly classical architecture and landscape design.

Charlotte loves to be in the great outdoors and is never happier than when skiing or with her wellingtons on walking the dog and gardening. On rainy days you might find her inside baking or crafting or on a trip to the theatre to watch ballet.
