Protecting Your Family Business in Uncertain Times
- This event has passed.
About the event
The last few years have seen a significant amount of change for the current leaders of family businesses. Just as businesses were preparing for the reality of Brexit they have also had to face the disruption caused by the pandemic. As well as the general worries about trade, this may have caused tension between family members.
During this presentation, the solicitors from Longmores will talk about the measures you can take to protect your family business in uncertain times.
Richard Horwood will talk about family charters, what they are and why they are important. John Wiblin will share some case studies about family business disputes that he has helped to resolve. Then Michael Budd will tell you how to mitigate risk through good corporate governance.
Before the presentation there will be a speed networking session to help you get to know the speakers and other delegates. We encourage everybody to join in and switch on your cameras.
After the presentation there will be a Q&A when delegates are invited to ask their questions, however big or small. You can also submit a question in advance when booking your place.
