Longmores promote two solicitors to partners
Longmores Solicitors start the new year with the successful promotion to partner of Karen Fletcher and Lauren Mackenzie.
Karen is a key member of the Residential Conveyancing team helping clients to buy and sell homes, remortgage, equity release, transfers of equity, deeds of trust, and buy to let investments. With eighteen years’ experience specialising in residential property, Karen has handled thousands of transactions and understands exactly what her clients need – a professional, friendly individual they can trust to act quickly, safeguard their interests, provide regular updates and swift responses to queries.
Karen is a member of the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), the recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing, and she is a Notary Public which is one of the oldest branches of the legal profession.
Lauren Mackenzie is a litigator in the Dispute Resolution team with sixteen years’ experience that has led to her specialising in contentious probate and trust disputes. She helps individuals and families to resolve disputes about wills, estates and trusts. Lauren has recently advised beneficiaries and executors, defended trustees and has helped a minor beneficiary in state care claim for sufficient funds from the estate of his adoptive late father.
Lauren is a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 and an accredited mediator with strong expertise in resolving disputes outside of a courtroom.
Richard Gvero, Joint Senior Partner, said “I am delighted that Karen and Lauren are joining the partnership; these are well deserved promotions that bode well for our firm’s future as we go from strength to strength”.
These promotions bring the partnership team to thirteen strong across commercial, property and private client services. Employees at Longmores often talk about it being a great firm to work for and these promotions highlight the firm’s belief in investing in their team.
